Half Term Fishy Sewing Workshop in Whitstable!

This half term at the end of October,we will be having some stitchy fun again at The Horsebridge Centre

in Whitstable!

During the summer 'The Kids Mini Festival'

was held at The Umbrella Centre and there were so many fabulous things for the kids to do

and it was such a success,the tickets were sold out by mid morning!

Miss.Stitch held some small sewing

workshops through the day and many little sewers came and sat at our mini table and made some fabulous funky fish!

The fish were such fun to create and some of the younger one's that hadn't even sewn before

took to it like a duck.....ooops,a fish to water!!Heehee!

per child and lasts 2 hours from 10-12pm on Friday 1st November at The Horsebridge Centre,Whitstable.Suitable for age 6+.

New Miss.Stitch sewing workshop dates in Whitstable..........

Well,it seems like Easter was only

yesterday and we have another

holiday with a bank holiday thrown in,coming our way,at the end of the month!

I have two new workshop dates for my creative 

little sewers to come and join.

Saturday 18th May 1-3pm and 

Half Term:Tues 28th May 10-12pm.

So,if you are looking for something creative for your kids to do,sewing is a fabulous way for them to play and express their creativity  whilst learning a new skill.

We will be exploring freestyle picture making

with flowers,buttons and ribbon,sewn to a piece of fabric so they can hang it up

on your wall! 

A rainbow of felt and threads to use!

The workshops will be held at The Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable and will cost £12 per child per workshop.

Lots of little sewers in Whitstable!

Thankyou to all at Windy Corner Stores 

in Whitstable for hosting my 

'Miss.Stitch Stitchy Pop-up'!

It was a great success and we met lots of 

very talented little stitchers.

We had a little taster sewing session

to introduce them to making and sewing. 

Deep in concentration......they got stitching and created some fabulous bunny and chicken finger puppets......

Then this week we met some more little stitchers from far and wide......some on holiday in Whitstable........and some came 

back for a second time and helped me!

We made brightly coloured felt birds

and the children learnt some new sewing 

techniques and little Evie took to it like a duck to water!!!

All the girls co-ordinating in stripes and lolly-pops

all round after the sewing session!

Zac and Oliver made cool birds with feathers

as wings....chirpy-cheep-cheep!!

Easter Creations.

Miss.Stitch is having an Easter

sewing event!

On Saturday 23rd of March 1-3pm

at The Horsebridge centre in Whitstable.

Come along and create a bunny,a chicken

or some egg cosies to keep or to

give to someone as an Easter gift!

Suitable for age 6 years and above.

The cost is £14 per child and all materials

are included.

Create something in bright felt with a rainbow of coloured threads,learning some new sewing skills whilst having some stitchy fun!

Stitchy Fun at a Sewing Workshop in Whitstable!

Lots of fun was had at Miss.Stitch's 

half term sewing workshop.

It was held at 

The Horsebridge Centre in the heart of Whitstable.We gathered inside,away from the cold Febuary wind and got sewing with lots of bright coloured felt and thread!

The kids chose between a bunny,owl or bird

and created their own characters.

Some pink bunnys were born.........

......an owl and two little birds!

.......all together quite a gang!

Great fun had by all.It was a pleasure to meet all my little stitchers......

Josh went whizzing off on his scooter with 

'Stuffy' the owl on board!
