Hi there little stitchers!

Here are some new ideas at Miss.Stitch.
Miss.Stitch is based in St.Margarets,Twickenham and is able to travel to surrounding areas bringing with her a basket full of felt,buttons and ribbons!
How about a sewing party for your creative friends!

Cute little birds to hang on the wall or on your door.First of all you will choose what colour you want your bird to be and then get sewing......learning how to do running stitch and back stitch.

You can sew them in a rainbow of colours and add little hearts for decoration.
A colourful button for the eye and a little felt beak!Tweet-tweet!

with their own individual style!

"Thank you so much for giving them such a great time and for providing
me with more than enough to fill the allotted time for the party! You
were wonderful with them all - very patient and relaxed, no mean feat
when there are lots of over-excited children involved! Amelia loved
it, as did all the others and thank you so much for letting Isobel
join in. She had said that she didn't want to do it but I think she
ended up enjoying it as much as anyone! We are just finishing her 

cushion off and she has been hard at work on it all weekend!"

Bright and cheerful bird cushions!

Well,tucked away in St.Margarets on Saturday afternoon,

six young ladies created some gorgeous bright 

little cushions!

The Birthday girl's little sister,waited in the wings and was tempted to do a little stitching.......well,she was a 

natural and after sewing two birds,made a little

cushion aswell,just like the big girls!

Well done everyone! and Happy Birthday Amelia!

Oh.......and the lovely Helen Booker (Mum and talented

professional photographer!) Took one of me too....

Great fun had by all.......and then they were off to jump 

on the trampoline......but not me!!!

 

Back to school.

Well,here we are in September.The sun is shining and we are still stitching!

Miss.Stitch has been busy sewing and creating

all sorts of things!

This is what I do in my spare time....

This is my new cloth cat called Degas,made from scraps and some printed fabric by Amy Butler.Little pink felt ears and button eyes.

Great fun to create and a companion for my 

other fabric animals!
